Earning a Uxcel professional certification demonstrates your expertise in UX/UI design and validates your readiness for industry roles. To obtain certification, you’ll need to complete a proctored, timed exam designed to assess your design knowledge, critical thinking, and practical problem-solving skills.
Certification exam requirements
Each certification includes two exam attempts.
Once you start the exam, you have 2 hours to complete it.
If you do not pass on your first attempt, you can immediately try again using your second attempt.
If you do not pass after both attempts, the certification process resets and you must wait 30 days before retaking the exam.
After the 30-day cooldown period, you’ll be able to start the certification process again.
Recommended preparation
There are no formal prerequisites, but preparation is strongly advised. Each certification page includes a curated list of recommended courses and assessments tailored to that specific role.
You can also review your Uxcel skill assessments and take practice quizzes to evaluate your readiness.
How long does it take to prepare?
Most learners pass within 4–8 weeks of focused study using Uxcel’s learning paths and certification resources. Be sure to:
