What happens if my professional certification expires?

Certification expiration status

If you do not renew your certification before the expiration date, the certification status will change to expired.

This means the certification is no longer considered active.

However, your certificate page will remain accessible, even after expiration.

Regaining certification

You can regain an active certification by completing the renewal requirements.

This can be done by:

• completing four courses related to the certification area, or

• retaking the certification exam

Once completed, your certification validity will be restored.

Note: Uxcel’s Professional Certifications are available only to Pro members. Each Pro user receives two attempts per month. If you don’t pass after both attempts, you’ll need to wait 30 days before starting the certification process again.
