Do I need a subscription for professional certification?

Yes — you need an active Pro subscription to access and complete professional certifications.

Only users on the Pro plan (either individual, Team, or Enterprise) can take certification exams and earn certificates. Free users can view available certifications, but won't be able to start the certification process without upgrading.

What’s included with professional certification?

When you upgrade to Pro, you unlock access to:

• Professional certification exams — assess your skills in UX design, UI design, product design, and more

• Structured career paths — follow guided learning tracks to prepare for certifications and boost your skills

• Issuable certificates — get shareable certificates that appear in the “Certificates” section of your Uxcel profile

Do Teams and Enterprise plans include certification?

Yes — professional certification is included in both Teams and Enterprise plans.

If you're part of a team account, your organization may have already enabled certification access. You can check your access by visiting the certifications section of your profile.

How to upgrade to Pro

If you’re on a free account, here’s how to upgrade:

1. Log in to your Uxcel account

2. Navigate to Account settings

3. Go to the Subscription section

4. Click Upgrade to Pro

5. Choose your preferred plan (monthly or annual) and complete the payment
