What happens if my professional certification expires?

Certification expiration status

If you do not renew your certification before the expiration date, the certification status will change to expired.

This means the certification is no longer considered active.

However, your certificate page will remain accessible, even after expiration.

Regaining certification

You can regain an active certification by retaking and passing the certification exam.

Once completed, your certification validity will be restored for another 3 years.

Renewal is priced at 50% of the original exam cost.
