Certified by Uxcel exams now require a score of 70% or higher to pass, across all three tiers.
This is lower than the previous 85% threshold, but the exams have not become easier.
Why the exam isn't easier
Difficulty is built into the exam itself through the mix and calibration of questions for each tier, not through a high passing bar.
A 70% passing score is standard practice across many professional certification programs and reflects the design of the question bank rather than a reduced bar for competence.
