Our vision is to bring your entire design team on board, together with internal cross-functional teams that have a high impact on your design outputs, or design team growth. With this in mind, you have an option to invite team members based on the seats you have available.

At the moment, we have enabled three predefined access levels:

  • Member

  • Lead

  • Admin

Inviting Team Members from Google Workspace

One of the significant updates is the ability to invite team members directly from Google Workspace. This integration simplifies the process, allowing you to quickly add colleagues without leaving your workflow. Navigate to the "Invite" section, select "Google Workspace," and choose the members you wish to add.

Assigning Roles and Access

When inviting a new member, you can now specify their role within the team and the level of access they will have. This feature ensures that each team member has the appropriate permissions aligned with their responsibilities. Clear role descriptions help set expectations from the outset, promoting better collaboration.

Managing Pro Access and Billing

The update also includes options to manage Pro Access for each user. Only those with Pro Access will impact billing, so you can control costs by carefully selecting who needs these advanced features. This transparency in billing can help manage budgets more effectively.

Adding Users to Squads

With the new features, you can assign users to specific squads upon invitation. This functionality allows for better organization and ensures that team members are immediately integrated into the right projects and workflows. This structure supports efficient team operations and clear communication channels.

Once the invite is sent, your team member will get an invitation link on their email to join the team.

Visibility and Permissions

These features are exclusive to Team Admins and Team Owners, ensuring that only authorized personnel can make changes to team composition and permissions. This control is crucial for maintaining security and operational efficiency.

By leveraging these new features, you can enhance your team's onboarding process, tailor roles and access to fit your needs, and manage costs effectively.
