What is the revenue-sharing model?

The Uxcel revenue-sharing model is designed to reward instructors based on learner engagement and referrals. Unlike traditional platforms where instructors set their own course prices, Uxcel operates on a performance-based and referral-driven approach.

How the model works

1. Course completion rewards

Instructors earn a flat $1 for every learner who completes their course and receives a certificate. This structure ensures that instructors are compensated when students gain real educational value from the course.

2. Referral-based commissions

When learners subscribe to Uxcel through an instructor’s unique referral link, the instructor earns a percentage of the subscription value:

  • 25% commission for:

    • Annual Pro plan subscriptions

    • Team plan conversions

  • 40% commission for:

    • Monthly Pro plan subscriptions

3. Organic conversions

If a user’s first interaction with Uxcel occurs through an instructor’s course or content (even without using a referral link), and they later subscribe, the instructor still receives a commission. These are treated the same as direct referrals:

  • 25% commission on annual/team plans

  • 40% commission on monthly Pro plans

Tracking and payouts

Instructors can monitor their performance and earnings through the affiliate dashboard, which displays referral activity, course completions, and commission totals. Payments are processed on a monthly basis.
