Yes — through Uxcel Cares (for non-profits) and Uxcel for Universities (for teachers and academic institutions), eligible organizations can receive free access to Uxcel Teams — not a discount, but full complimentary access to Uxcel's learning platform, including courses, assessments, certifications, and team management tools.

Uxcel Cares & Uxcel for Universities: free access programs

Uxcel offers free access to its learning platform to organizations doing good work in education and social impact, through two complementary initiatives:

  • Uxcel for Universities — for teachers and academic institutions
  • Uxcel Cares — for non-profit organizations, charities, and other mission-driven groups

Both programs give approved organizations free access to a Uxcel Teams subscription. Every member of an approved team automatically gets Pro Membership unlocked, including full access to courses, skill assessments, career paths, project briefs, and certifications.

Who is eligible?

Uxcel for Universities is open to:

  • Current teachers at accredited, degree-giving colleges and universities — undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral professors, instructors, lecturers, and assistant professors — worldwide
  • High school/secondary school teachers in Australia, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, France, Poland, Türkiye, the UK, and the USA (we're continually adding more countries)

Teachers apply directly and, once verified through their official school email address and personal faculty page, receive six months of free access to Uxcel Teams. Deans, principals, and other administrators can encourage their teachers to apply but can't apply on a teacher's behalf.

Uxcel Cares is open to:

  • Registered non-profit organizations, charities, and NGOs
  • Mission-driven organizations focused on social impact, job readiness, or supporting underrepresented communities — for example, organizations like Kiron and CodeYourFuture that run employment and upskilling programs

A few examples of who this helps

  • A university design professor wanting to give an entire class hands-on access to UX, PM, and AI courses
  • A high school teacher in an eligible country introducing students to product design fundamentals
  • A non-profit running a job-readiness or upskilling program for underrepresented job seekers
  • A nonprofit researcher exploring design education programs for their community

How to apply

  1. Submit an application: apply as a university/teacher or apply as a non-profit.
  2. Initial review: Our team typically responds within 7 business days to schedule a 30-minute intro call to learn about your organization and goals.
  3. Product walkthrough: If you're a good fit, we'll set up a second call to walk through the product and share tips for getting the most out of it.
  4. Get started: We'll send a formal agreement confirming your free access — no invoice, no payment required — and you can start inviting your team, students, or members right away.

What does Uxcel ask in return?

These are genuine donations — partner organizations and their members pay nothing for access, valued at $300/year per seat for Uxcel Teams. The only thing we ask is an ongoing dialogue about your students' or members' successes using Uxcel. And if you're approved, we'd love to team up with you on an announcement post celebrating the collaboration — just reach out to support@uxcel.com.
