Pulse uses a sophisticated system to provide accurate and personalized assessments:

  1. Dynamic Test Questions: Questions are tailored to your specific design role (e.g., UX, UI, product design). Each test features different questions to ensure a comprehensive evaluation.

  2. Computer Adaptive Testing (CAT): The difficulty of questions adapts based on your performance, providing a more accurate assessment of your skills.

  3. Focused Assessment: The test consists of 25 questions, efficiently collecting comprehensive data about your skills.

  4. Reliability Score: This score improves as you retake the test, reaching 100% after 6 attempts. It gradually decreases over time, encouraging regular reassessment to maintain accuracy.

  5. Per-Question Timer: Each question has its own timer, reducing overall test anxiety.

  6. Role-Based Customization: You'll select your role before the test, ensuring questions are relevant to your specific field.

  7. "I Don't Know" Option: You can honestly admit when you're unsure, which is factored into your assessment differently than incorrect answers.
