Managing your Uxcel account and preferences

Easily manage your Uxcel profile, notification settings, and learning preferences. Learn how to customize your reminders, update your login info, and stay updated on the latest features, courses, and tools — including AI and product management learning paths.

Whether you're just getting started with Uxcel or you're actively leveling up your skills in UX, UI, product management, or AI-focused roles, your account settings help shape a personalized, distraction-free learning experience. Here’s everything you need to know to manage your Uxcel account and preferences.

How to update your Uxcel profile

Your profile is your personal space on Uxcel—it helps tailor your learning experience and showcases your role, experience, and language preferences to the community. Keeping it updated ensures you receive relevant course suggestions, track your growth, and connect meaningfully with others.

To update your profile:

  1. Log in to your Uxcel account at uxcel.com.

  2. Click your avatar in the top-right corner of the dashboard.

  3. Select Profile.

In the Profile tab, you can update:

  • Tagline – Add a short introduction (e.g., "Product manager at Wise").

  • Role – Select your current role (e.g., UX/UI Designer, product manager).

  • Level – Indicate your seniority (e.g., beginner, intermediate, advanced).

  • Work experience – Enter your total years of professional experience.

  • Country and Location – Show where you're from and where you live now.

  • Languages – Choose the languages you speak for better community visibility.

  • Privacy setting – Optionally, make your profile private and hide it from search engines.

Changes are saved automatically or by clicking Save changes at the bottom.


Change your password

In the Password tab of your account settings:

  1. Enter your current password.

  2. Set a new password that meets the requirements:

    • Minimum 8 characters

    • At least 1 uppercase letter

    • At least 1 lowercase letter

    • At least 1 number

This helps keep your account secure and private.

Customize your notifications

Go to the Notifications tab to choose what kind of updates you want to receive and how:

🔁 Reminders

  • Practice reminder – Set your preferred time to be reminded to keep learning.

  • Daily tips – Get bite-sized design tips to stay sharp.

  • Weekly progress updates – See your activity summary every Monday.

  • Streak updates – Stay motivated by tracking your learning streaks.

🌐 Community

  • Project feedback – Know when someone comments on your work.

  • League status – Stay informed about your rank and league performance.

📢 Announcements

  • New content releases – Get notified when new courses drop.

  • Community events – Be the first to hear about live sessions and webinars.

  • Special promotions – Don’t miss discounts, perks, and early access.

Notifications are available via:

  • Email

  • Mobile push notifications

  • Slack (for team users)

To customize your preferences, visit Notification tab in your Account settings.

How to stay updated on new content and features

Uxcel regularly rolls out new interactive courses, career paths, tools like Designr and AI Tutor, and community-led events.

Here’s how to stay in the loop:

  • Email newsletter: Make sure you're subscribed in your notification settings.

  • In-app updates: Check your dashboard banners and notifications tab.
